The perfect place to support those who serve

How The Collaroy Centre strengthens Salvation Army ministries

Every year, thousands of people across Australia rely on The Salvation Army for connection, care and community. What many people don’t realise is that behind the scenes, venues like The Collaroy Centre play a quiet but powerful role in enabling this mission.

As a for-purpose centre owned and operated by The Salvation Army, The Collaroy Centre directly supports TSA’s ministries, gatherings and leadership programs. And over the past six months, we’ve expanded that support significantly, investing part of our dedicated mission budget to ensure Salvos teams, volunteers and participants have space to learn, reflect and grow.

This is part of what makes The Collaroy Centre more than a venue, it’s a place where mission and hospitality meet.

Creating meaningful spaces for ministry

Across accommodation, meals, activities and direct sponsorship, we’ve proudly supported a wide range of Salvation Army-led initiatives, including:

  • TSA Aged Care Christmas Dinner Volunteers Gathering
A moment of gratitude and connection for volunteers who serve some of the most vulnerable members of the community.
  • TSA Oasis activities
Supporting young people facing homelessness or disadvantage with safe, engaging programs delivered by Oasis Youth Services.
  • TSA Equip
A key training and development program for Salvos personnel, helping leaders strengthen their skills and serve with purpose.
  • TSA Men’s Arise Conference
A powerful space for men across the church to connect, reflect and grow in faith and leadership.
  • TSA Christmas Dinner Volunteers Gathering
Celebrating individuals who serve others during the most important time of the year.
  • TSA Dee Why Corps activities
Local community engagement that supports families, newcomers, and people experiencing hardship.
  • TSA Apostolic Leadership Gatherings
Strategic gatherings for senior leaders to collaborate, plan and guide the mission forward.

Why this matters

Salvation Army ministries rely on spaces that foster reflection, collaboration and spiritual growth. By providing high-quality facilities, catering and program support, often at no cost, we help ensure TSA teams can focus on what they do best: serving their communities.

When you choose The Collaroy Centre for your school camp, retreat or conference, you help make this sponsorship possible. Your stay strengthens the people who strengthen others.

This is mission in motion.
