What is the Red Shield Appeal?
The Red Shield Appeal is The Salvation Army’s major annual fundraising campaign. It provides vital funds that support Australians facing hardship, homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and financial stress.
Money raised through the appeal goes directly into community programs that offer housing support, emergency relief, financial counselling, youth services, and family assistance—reaching people when they need it most.
