Monday to Friday from 7am to 15pm.

After hours and weekends, please call the Duty Managers phone on 0420 304 675 in case of an emergency only. Duty Managers are available Monday to Sunday from 7am to 9:30 pm.

After hours the Duty Managers phone is diverted to an on-call Manager.

In case of an emergency only please call the Duty Manager number on 0420 304 675.

It is important to remember that your Group Leader will have most of the information that you may need. Please ensure to have your group leader’s phone number with you at all times.

WiFi information

Free high speed internet of 200Mb per person per day is available.

How to connect:

  • Go to wifi settings on your device and choose The Collaroy Centre wifi.
  • A page will appear on your web browser. Enter your full name and email address.
  • You should now be connected to the free wifi. Try opening a website page or email.

Once you reach the free limit, a message will come up on your device asking if you would like to purchase more.

You can select what is the best option for you and make the payment using your credit card.

Housekeeping

Rooms are serviced daily from 10am.

Service includes tidying up room, changing rubbish bins, cleaning toilet and basin, and sanitising benches, light switches and door handles.

Towels are changed every SECOND day (this only applies to hotel and deluxe rooms).

Accommodation Check-in/Check-out

Check in times:

  • Monday – Thursday from 2pm.
  • Friday from 5pm.
  • Sunday from 4pm.

Check out times:

  • Monday – Sunday by 10am.

Please ensure all your bags and belongings are out of accommodation by check-out time.

Evacuation procedure and emergency exits

The centre has an alarm system which operates 24/7.

In case of an emergency, please listen carefully for instructions from our Chief Warden.

The first meeting point is at the oval, second meeting point is at Collaroy Beach.

Emergency exit signs are placed around the site. These are green in colour and are lit when it is dark.

Policies and Procedures of The Collaroy Centre:

Property Damage and/or loss

You will be invoiced for any breakages/losses to the Centre’s property or equipment. The Centre takes no responsibility for the loss or damage to the personal property of any Group members.

Food/Beverages

In exceptional circumstances and only with the prior permission from the Centre management may food or beverages be brought in from an external source.

Alcohol/Drugs

Please note the Centre is an alcohol and non-prescription drug free site. Bringing such substances on site will be regarded as unacceptable behaviour and may result in expulsion from the Centre.

Cleaning

It is expected that all grounds, rooms and meeting spaces will be left neat and tidy and all furniture is to be returned to its point of origin. In instances where accommodation and/or meeting rooms are left in a condition that requires extraordinary cleaning additional charges will apply.

Laundry

If required, please check with reception on how to access and use the Centre coin operated laundry facilities.

First Aid

All groups must provide their own first aid kit and nominate from their Group a first aid responder.

Smoking

Please note that the Centre has only one designated smoking area, otherwise the whole Centre is a smoke free site.

Fires

The lighting of fires on site (even in a controlled environment), without the permission of Centre management and the local Fire Authority is strictly prohibited.

Noise

In consideration of neighbours, a noise curfew is in place between 10.30pm and 7.00am daily.

Flora/Fauna

Environmental and conservation laws must be adhered to and flora and fauna are not to be disturbed.

Pets

With the exception of assistance dogs, no pets are permitted on site. All waste from assistance dogs, must be managed and removed by the Group.

Pianos

Requests for the use of pianos should be made known at the time of booking.

Musical instruments

Musical instruments are not permitted to be played in the cabins or the cabin common rooms unless prior approval has been given. No music is to be played outdoors unless prior approval has been given.

Parking of Cars

Parking of cars is strictly limited to the designated car park at the top of site. Cars may be driven to the cabins for unloading but they are not to be parked in this area.

Litter

Please dispose of all litter in bins provided. Group leaders are to ensure all accommodation and meeting rooms are left in a clean and tidy state at the end of your stay. If extra cleaning is required this will be charged to your group.

All Equipment

Chairs, tables, screens, cots, beds, etc must be returned to the place from where they came. Equipment is not to be taken outside unless approved by the Centre.

Ball Games

Ball Games are strictly prohibited in any of the indoor facilities.

Entrance Gate

Entrance Gate is open from 6:30am until 9:30pm.

Please be aware that if you are exiting our property by car/bus, gate will open automatically when approaching it.

If this is not the case, you will have to contact your group leader who will provide you with a code to open gate when exiting/entering our property outside those hours.

IN THE EVENT OF AN INCIDENT REQUIRING EVACUATION AN AUDIBLE ALARM WILL SOUND – PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

Week day hours (between 8am – 4pm) – Please follow The Collaroy Centre staff instructions.

After hours, weekends & public holidays – Please notify your groups designated leader of their Area Warden responsibilities.

Each Area Warden is to ensure the people under their control leave their location on site and move to the assembly area in the middle of the oval.

Do NOT stop to collect baggage etc.

Take your current list of all attendees in your group with you to the assembly area and report to the Chief Fire Warden (identified by white vest).

Check off names of group members to ensure all are present and accounted for. Do NOT allow members to leave the assembly area.

Remain in the assembly area and await further instructions or until the ‘all clear’ is given by the Chief Fire Warden.
