Description:
This hike is centred around Crosslands campground in the suburb of Hornsby. The hike will take students along section of the Great North Walk along Berowra Creek

The level of difficulty of the journey is easy when compare to some of our other journeys allowing our instructors time to give participants a thorough grounding in the principles of navigation and campcraft.

There is a compulsory briefing session for all of our journeys to help students to prepare for their journeys. These sessions begin at 7 pm and are held at The Collaroy Centre, Homestead Ave, Collaroy.

Located in the beautiful lower Blue Mountains, this journey follows Glenbrook Creek and it’s tributaries. A perfect introduction to your Duke of Edinburgh adventurous journey career.

Glenbrook to Springwood

 is located in the lower Blue Mountains. This hike follows the Glenbrook Creek before ascending and travelling along St Helena crater before following Magdala creek to Springwood.

This hike is by no means an easy hike with students required to walk a large distance on the first day. The general feedback, however suggests that the journey is well and truly worth it.
